Alarm systems

Installation of an alarm system allows you to be notified when something happens while you’re away. Modern alarm systems are no longer just motion detectors but can integrate with home automation and fire systems. This allows you to control and monitor the status of your property all via a mobile app.

CCTV

With the addition of a CCTV system you can link the cameras around your property to your phone. This allows you to see what’s happening at home in 4k clarity from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet.

Frequently Asked Question’s

This varies greatly depending on your property size and requirements. However based on a standard house install of 4 cameras and alarm system, it can usually be complete over the course of 1 to 2 days.

That depends on what you are trying to achieve, however there are a few tips on getting the best coverage. For example an alarm and CCTV system go hand in hand very well, this allows for the alarm system to tell you something is happening on your premise and prompt you to check on the CCTV system. This means if you are away from home and your alarm system notifies you of something happening, you can open your cameras on your phone and see what’s happening without needing to be at home.

With older systems this used to be a big issue however detection technology has come a long way since then. There are now various friendly solutions that allow for most pets to roam free without causing any issues.

Wired systems are always preferable as they eliminate the need for battery changes and are not susceptible to wireless interference. This generally makes them more expensive upfront but cheaper and much more reliable in the long term. However wireless systems have their place as they can be much more effective in hard to reach locations or where it is not possible to get a cable and are far more reliable then they used to be.
